Now is the time
As the fashion industry embarks on its resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential that sustainability is prioritized throughout the entirety of the global supply chain. Now is the time to make peace with nature, abolish social inequalities, and seize the opportunities of digital technology. The Sustainable Development Goals, 17 urgent calls to action adopted by all UN member states, provide a guiding framework for the achievement of these priorities.
The topics of the Frankfurt Fashion SDG Summit take up the ten priorities announced by UN Secretary General António Guterres for 2021 to achieve the SDGs by 2030. The interviews, panel discussions and keynotes will be held under mottos such as: Sustainability by design, Policy for the People, Climate, Oceans, Creatives for the Future, Global state of fashion and design. The entire programme will be available soon.
On the panel of the first digital edition of the Frankfurt Fashion SDG Summit are leading international representatives from the politics, research, the fashion and textiles sector and NGOs, as well as designers, artists and UN advocates. More information about our speakers are coming soon.

About the Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The Sustainable Development Goals are the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. More important than ever, the goals provide a critical framework for COVID-19 recovery. The Sustainable Development Goals are vital for a recovery that leads to greener, more inclusive economies, and stronger, more resilient societies. To the Sustainable Development Goals
